Kramer-Neugebauer transformation for Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton-axion theory.
The Kramer–Neugebauer–like transformation is constructed for the stationary axisymmetric D=4 Einstein–Maxwell–dilaton–axion system. This transformation directly maps the dualized sigma–model equations of the theory into the nondualized ones. Also the new chiral 4× 4 matrix representation of the problem is presented. متن کاملDynamics of Extended Spinning Masses in a Gravitational Field
We develop a first-order approximation method for the influence of spin on the motion of extended spinning test masses in a gravitational field. This approach is illustrated for approximately circular equatorial motion in the exterior Kerr spacetime. In this case, the analytic results for the first-order approximation are compared to the numerical integration of the exact system and the limitat...
متن کاملOn Kramer-Mesner matrix partitioning conjecture
In 1977, Ganter and Teirlinck proved that any 2t× 2t matrix with 2t nonzero elements can be partitioned into four submatrices of order t of which at most two contain nonzero elements. In 1978, Kramer and Mesner conjectured that any mt× nt matrix with kt nonzero elements can be partitioned into mn submatrices of order t of which at most k contain nonzero elements. In 1995, Brualdi et al. showed ...
متن کامل(2+1)-Gravity Solutions with Spinning Particles
We derive, in 2+1 dimensions, classical solutions for metric and motion of two or more spinning particles, in the conformal Coulomb gauge introduced previously. The solutions are exact in the N -body static case, and are perturbative in the particles’ velocities in the dynamic two-body case. A natural boundary for the existence of our gauge choice is provided by some “CTC horizons” encircling t...
متن کاملOn the Analytic Form of the Discrete Kramer Sampling Theorem
The classical Kramer sampling theorem is, in the subject of self-adjoint boundary value problems, one of the richest sources to obtain sampling expansions. It has become very fruitful in connection with discrete Sturm-Liouville problems. In this paper, a discrete version of the analytic Kramer sampling theorem is proved. Orthogonal polynomials arising from indeterminate Hamburger moment problem...
